ELEMENTS OF ERUDITION

The newly developed atrium of the renovated Lagomarcino Hall features a large glass paneled mural depicting a collage of images that symbolize the School of Education. The central image of a face with headpiece speaks to the goals of the college in expanding the human potential through knowledge, inspiration, imagination and innovation. Throughout Elements of Erudition the graphic use of bold imagery and colors reflect the vitality and energy of the students while illustrating and emphasizing the positive impact educators have on the individual students potential. The School of Education was working towards an innovative remapping of their educational programs with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and math or STEM, and worked with the artists to develop themes of innovation, growth, leadership, and social justice and community outreach.
